First time on a party island? Do you ask yourself what the parties on Ibiza are like? Here you will find all the information about the nightlife on Ibiza, as well as valuable tips that will surely come in handy. Interested? Then I invite you to read further.

If you don’t have someone to guide you through the basics then the sheer volume of ads and information can seem overwhelming, but don’t worry! You have us after all! To help you out, we have prepared a small guide on the club area of the white island’s life. It will be valuable information for both new party goers and Ibiza party animals. We will try to give you some basic knowledge to help you make the most of your vacation on Ibiza.

You can spend a hot summer day relaxing on one of the island’s fabulous beaches, partying with friends in beach clubs, or at one of the many boat events. At dusk, you must watch the sunset at one of the famous sunset spots, and there are plenty of them here, starting with the most famous Cafe Mambo, and ending with a wonderful viewpoint overlooking Es Vedra. But more on that in the next post. Now let’s focus on the clubs. The parties in the clubs start late, so before dancing the night away, it’s worth going for a drink in the island’s capital. Delicious mojitos, gin, and tonic, or Spanish cuba libre at the port overlooking Dalt Vila will surely put you in a party mood.

You should buy club tickets on proven internet portals or on disco websites. Once on the island, you can buy tickets at stationary points. At our service points, you can also buy official tickets for virtually all club events, beach clubs, and boat parties on the island. We are located in San Antonio, but we can also deliver tickets to you. Do you need a ticket? Send us a message. By purchasing tickets in advance, you’ll get the best price and guaranteed admission. Also, keep in mind that tickets for some events (e.g. El Row in Amnesia) sell out very quickly, so buying tickets in advance is always your best bet. Don’t buy tickets at the clubs’ gates because you will overpay. The difference between the pre-sale ticket price and the ticket price at the gate can be as much as €20. And for this price, you can already have a drink in the club. Oh, yes—prices in clubs are far from low. You can check the locations of our service points HERE.

Tickets for most macro-disco events range from €25 to €80, depending on the event and time of the season. Smaller nightclubs have lower prices and some lesser-known parties offer discounts or free lists.

And now you’ll probably say…but it’s still expensive! It’s Ibiza after all and you will most likely pay the same amount in your hometown for a top-class concert ticket. Simply put, these are nights you will never forget, so if you look at it from this perspective, it’s not that expensive.

Coke vodka will cost you around €15-18 at a discotheque or €10-12 in Ibiza town or one of the bars. Beer (or water) will cost around €9-13Bat a disco and €4-8 at other smaller venues. But of course, it’s worth taking advantage of the all-inclusive bar in your hotel or having a pre-party in your room or on the beach. Remember not to leave rubbish on the beach. Don’t even think about trying to bring drinks to clubs as you are most likely to be caught and kicked out. Although the old proverb says that Poles are well skilled ;).

Clubs will most likely not, without reason, refuse admission to someone who has already purchased a ticket. Whether you’re a fashion blogger or don’t focus much on your appearance, everybody parties and dances together on Ibiza. The truth is, we’re big fans of those who embraced the free spirit of Ibiza from the past where “anything goes” was the only rule.

However, please do remember that you won’t be allowed to enter any VIP area and some clubs in shorts, flip-flops, a swimsuit, or sportswear (football shirts). Therefore, going to the club straight from the beach won’t always be a good idea.

Remember—DiscoBus is your friend. Do yourself a favor and check the DiscoBus timetable HERE. For a few euros, you can get across the island. Very often, DiscoBus will take you to the door of your destination. Places such as Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege, Ushuaia, and Hi Ibiza all have bus stops almost in the very front of the club.

In high season, DiscoBuses run every half hour throughout the night, and not only will they drop you at the door of any disco, but you will also be able to enjoy the party atmosphere on the bus. Legends say that life-long friendships have been made on the road between San Antonio and Playa d’en Bossa. The DiscoBus ride should be on your to-do list during your first vacation to Ibiza

Most nightclubs open between 11 pm and midnight and stay open all night until dawn. As you can imagine nobody wants to be first but everyone wants to be there by 3 am at the latest. The longest entry lines are between 1:30 am and 3 am, especially in August.

Sometimes you will find yourself in a position where you have no other choice but to wait in line. There are certain extremely popular events, and queues there will be inevitable. Therefore, be mentally prepared to wait. Often there are two lines to a club. People who have purchased a ticket are waiting in one of them, and the other line is to the ticket office. Remember that having a ticket purchased in advance will save you some waiting time. The longest queues line up in August for the busiest nights at Pacha and Amnesia. Make sure you get to the club as early as possible and you shouldn’t have any problems.

When you are on Ibiza, you will surely meet promoters distributing free and/or discount wristbands on the beaches and tourist spots. Take them and enjoy them! Let’s face it, though, no one will give us a free band to Ushuaia to see David Guetta. These are usually less-known events that want to promote themselves, which doesn’t mean that they are any worse. On Ibiza, 90% of events are worth your attention. It all depends on your taste. How do discount wristbands work? These wristbands entitle you to a discount when buying a ticket at the club’s gate. Very often, the price of a discounted ticket purchased at the gate is the same as the price of a pre-sale ticket online or at ticket-sale points. It’s not the case every time, though. Ask the promoter what the discount is or approach one of the sale points.

You can be entered on the guest list for free using party packages. What are party packages? You need to buy something to get something for free. Most often you have to buy a boat party or open bars package. Your purchase of a party on board gives us the opportunity to put you on free club lists. And then you have a whole range of offers. A great purchase option last season was a party on board plus a free admission to Ushuaia or Hi Ibiza. It was seriously a hot deal. We had an option of booking customers to such events as Armin Van Buuren, Ants, Black Coffee, Glitterbox, and many more. Some packages allow you to register for a nightclub and a beach club, others allow you to register for up to 5 different clubs. So as you can see, there is a lot to choose from.

It may also happen that someone will offer you to join the club list for free. Some events or clubs invite party goers for free to promote themselves. Competition on Ibiza’s party market is very tough and it’s often difficult for a small club to break through. You should take advantage of these invitations.

For the guest list to work, you must meet one condition. You have to be on time. Guest lists are timelimited. What does it mean? You must enter the club before the given time, e.g. 1 am, but you can, of course, stay there until the end of the party. That’s how it works. Consider queuing up at the club. It’s not easy to find out about all the offers, promotions, and packages, especially when you’re going to Ibiza for the first time, but don’t worry. We will take care of it. The range of possibilities is really wide. We will create a personalized event calendar or holiday plan tailored to your taste and budget. We have been selling tourist attractions and planning free time on the island for 5 years. Contact us via call or message. We will be happy to answer all your questions. No compromise.
