License Requirements for Driving a 6-Meter Boat in Spain.

If you plan to rent this boat in Ibiza, you must hold a valid boating license that is officially recognized by Spanish maritime authorities (Capitanía Marítima). Below is a guide for tourists from different countries:

United Kingdom

Accepted licenses:

• RYA Powerboat Level 2 (must be issued for coastal waters)

• ICC (International Certificate of Competence) with power endorsement

Netherlands

Accepted licenses:

• Vaarbewijs II is required for boats over 15 HP and/or longer than 15 meters. For a 115 HP engine, this license is mandatory.

Germany

Accepted licenses:

• Sportbootführerschein See (SBF See) is required to operate any motorboat with an engine over 15 HP on coastal waters.

France

Accepted licenses:

• Permis Côtier is required for all boats with engines over 6 HP

• Permis Hauturier is accepted for longer-distance navigation

Spain

Accepted licenses for residents:

• Licencia de Navegación (el titulin) allows operation of boats up to 6 meters and 150 HP, within 2 nautical miles of the coast

• PNB (Patrón de Navegación Básica) or higher is needed for extended navigation

– For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

– If you cancel less than 24 hours* before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

– Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

– This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

To reserve this boat, a booking deposit is required and must be paid in advance. The remaining rental balance is paid at check-in on the day of the rental.

At check-in, a refundable security deposit is also required. This security deposit is returned after the boat is handed back in the same condition as received, with no damage or missing equipment.
